You’ve entered a space of original content, pre-made content and events just for you!

Our mission is to build community through media.

navii media offers beautifully-designed spaces to create, build, and socialize. We embrace who we are, creating an environment for us by us: a home for marginalized folks to be platformed and loved.

We’re a black and lgbtqia+ owned company!

Our website is for global majority people, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people and low-income people. We want to tell the stories that larger media platforms do not, we want to create a space for us by us, that gives us control on how we share who we are. That spreads joy and happiness, that shares the truth and our reality, we want to share you! If you're unsure whether or not you can submit, contact us below.

Check out our "You" page to see all the platforms that come under Navii Media.

you!

Did you know we have a grow section? This section will be donated to various people, platforms and organisations that need support sharing around such as GoFundMe's, crowdfunders etc.

meet the founder

Hiya! My name is Dami Fawehinmi (any pronouns) and I am a Black, queer and non-binary artist living in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Navii Media began in 2020 with the idea to one day create a hub for marginalized content to be. I have always wanted to tell mine and others stories but many media platforms didn't get it or didn't want to platform it.
My mum gave me some brilliant advice "if it doesn't exist, make it." so I did. Thanks mum! With support from Newcastle University Start Up in 2021, we were able to set up as a limited company. In late 2022 I was awarded a total of £25,000 from UK Black Pride and the Virgin Money Foundation's changemaker fellowship to create the dream I'd had.
It meant I could build the website, pay creators and run events while not only reaching the city I was in but internationally!
I can't say thank you enough to everyone for believing in this dream from the beginning and supporting us to get here finally. Younger me rarely saw themselves in the media and believed there would never be a place for them. But a small blogspot website (Daminella) blossomed into this!! Thank you to you for checking out our website and I hope you have a magical time on it!
