🌊🏄🏾‍♀️My first time surfing and OMF

🌊🏄🏾‍♀️My first time surfing and OMFG I loved it! With my scoliosis I have to careful with myself, but because of this I had validly become fearful of doing a lot of things, yet the feeling of wanting to do activties like roller skating and surfing seemed like they'd never happen. The most beautiful thing about the group was that you go at your own pace, I could take breaks, do things my own way and know that I'm doing something new! So I'm just on freaking cloud 9!!

My new hobbies are surfing and rollerskating, and im just excited to see what new things I can get into and do it at my own pace. Also mum if you're reading this yes I skate with a helmet 😂 Joined in with @qsurf_north X @thebackyardncl it was just mesmerising being in the sea like this. The furthest I've been in my life is about waist high, and it was always too cold but thank God for wetsuits 😂😂 can't wait to get back into the water

✨️🌈🍭Had the most magical time at @woldsprideofficial ! Had the honour of leading the trans joy panel discussion, bringing @themidnightcommune to Pocklington and performing some works from 'Love, Sunny' and spending some joyful queer time with these amazing magnificent souls!! Can't wait for the next one 😍😍 happy pride bebe's!!!

🛼🌈My first time skating in a rink, IT WAS SO SMOOTH OMG😍learning so much about quad skates, like you're supposed to loosen the wheels and not use the skates fresh outta the box 😂😂 @wutheringdykex been giving me allll the tips 🥺thank you Helen @wowtwick for loosening them and teaching me some new falls and tricks!! I felt so much joy doing this, I'm usually scared of falling over because of my scoliosis, which is one of the reasons I stopped skating a bit ago. But my love for it made me wanna come back, so let's get into it!! (Safely loool)

✨️Spent this week working on the biggest thing in my life alongside the most beautiful and amazing souls and I can't wait to show y'all! ISTG I'm literally still freaking buzzing as I type this none of it felt or feels real!! Dreams coming true 😭😭mahoosive news will be out in 2024 so watch this space 👀

Hiii✨️🌞 thought I'd do a cute lil intro for my page! My name's Dami nickname Sunny, I'm 24 yrs old, queer🏳️‍🌈 and live in Newcastle with my bestie @littlearlobigworld ! The name Journals Of Dami came from my love for writing and journaling and just documenting life! I run a company called @naviimedia where we create representation for marginalized communities through events and online content! I'm a Sagittarius and love everything colourful and bright and I like to describe myself as a walking pantone colour chart😂. I'm queer, trans and nonbinary and live with chronic conditions so I look to find new ways to bring light into life but also how to make my life my own, so that others can see themselves in it too but also know theyre not alone💕 I love creating and being a part of communities and I'm a massive homebody at heart, so you'll probably find me at a calm event or wearing my bear hoodie watching a Disney film for the 100th time. 🤒This past couple weeks was definitely not the

🤒This past couple weeks was definitely not the holiday back home I was expecting, ended up getting covid. As soon as I got home (Day 1) I felt so hot but thought it was just the heatwave...it was not. I thought I'd share if it helps anyone, remember covid is still about and take care!💕

Day 2: dry throat. Not sore. No matter how much you drink or coat your throat it's dryy I also started feeling super tired, I had a 6 hour nap and then by 8pm I was super tired again and went to bed and VERY very weird dreams and brain fog

Day 3: My GAWD the fatigue. Your bed is your bestie that's it. Also muscle aches start to set in. I have scoliosis so my spine was hurtinnn. I was pretty much in bed this whole day. Also had a runny nose, couldn't stop coughing or sneezing. Thought it was the flu

Day 4: body aches intensify and nausea sets in. Woke up at 3am feeling sick and went back to bed, come 6am I was throwing up, shaking and sweating like I'd finished the London Marathon. I very rarely throw up so at this point mum called an ambulance

Day 4 part 2: baddest headaches, body aches and irritability. What's weird tho is I had a nap and suddenly woke up feeling a lil better

✨️Day 5: just feel heavy and congested, not as badly coughing and achey on a level of 4. Feel well enough to walk my dog as long as I'm far away from ppl. Lips dry, actually whole mouth feels dry. Drink a lot of fluids

Day 5 part 2: suddenly I felt normal again, I couldn't taste or smell still but I felt fine. Get into bed and I began to feel a bit congested more so in the throat area but feeling good

Day 6: still feel congested, I'm not sure if my taste and smell is returning or I'm delulu bcos I feeel like I could smell my deodorant but idk.

Day 6 part 2: it's still hard to swallow food and I sometimes choke a lil lool. My throat isn't sore or in pain, I'm eating pancakes and suddenly my body is like "nope." Tested negative 😍

Day 7 - (day 11? I can't count lol) lung capacity still not 100% and easily fatigued, with my chronic conditions before I was normally tired but this tiredness feels like I've just done a marathon and it's only 8am but beyond that as long as I pace myself I feel 80%🥳

🌊🏄🏾‍♀️My first time surfing and OMFG I loved it!
