However what TV shows portray about those who don’t go to university as worse off in the future isn’t true. I have family members who never went but now make over 80 to 100k. A university degree is good to have, if you want it get it. But remember there are many routes to every situation. Pick the one that makes you happiest
- My mum told me that the people you meet growing up good and bad, you’ll meet them again at another important stage of your life. When you start university, your first proper job, dating etc. The good thing about these kind of people I met now is that I’ll become a lot more tolerant of the people like them I’ll meet in later life. Everything happens for a reason.
- Donโt waste your time. Spend it on people who will make a difference in your life, who care about what you want and who will help you get it.
- When itโs all said and done, make sure youโve done more than youโve said. Actions speak louder than words.
- Go with your gut.
- Make no apologies for who you are.
- The people who try to bring you down are already below you
- Change might suck but eventually you’ll see it’s a good thing
